APPLIED ASPECTS OF 3D GEODYNAMIC MODELING

Abstract

The course deals with the construction of three-dimensional computer geological models using the ROAPAR IRAP RMS software package. The technology of creating 3D geodynamic models is considered. Analyzed software that allows the use of the method of double filtration space. The efficiency of using the IRAP RMS software for constructing three-dimensional models of fractured reservoirs is shown. Modeling is performed in two ways: either implicitly, using effective permeability, or explicitly, using the DFN (Discrete Fracture Network) technology. Examples of models for various geodynamic situations are given.
